To the World 3.3: Hope
Hope.
A dangerous yet motivating feeling.
To think that for once, there might be change
That for once there might be justice
That for once people might realize
the monsters hiding in the closet, the problems swept under the rug, the systems justified through ignorance for centuries... are being known, recognized, and owned.
How can you fix a problem without first acknowledging that there is one?
That you have been a part of it? Or even what the problem is?
You see, the Hope is different this time around
because people have begun to
Realize.
Recognize.
Own.
This is only the beginning.
The beginning of a revolution that has been in the works since before our country took its first breath.
The beginning of dismantling and rebuilding a country that has the wounds of racism long sewn into its being.
The beginning of ACTUALLY providing liberty and justice for all, creating a land of the free... all which is yet to be.
Hope.
May it continue to kindle a fire within us, may it never die, may it never cease until it has achieved.
Hope.
That we can create a world that our Creator intended it to be, on Earth as it is in Heaven:
Diverse, together, and free.
