About week ago my family and I just arrived home from our Punta Cana vacation.
And yes, I am still in post vacation depression!
Maybe writing about it will help me feel better. We'll see!
Anyway, getting to the point, I am making a look book of all my outfits that I wore over the trip. I hope it will send you some ocean vibes, summer outfit inspo, and maybe even posing ideas. Let me know which one is your favorite!
1) Sporty Conservative Bikini

I loved this swimsuit! I felt confident, comfortable, and cute at the same time. I didn't feel quite ready for swimsuit season yet, so this was a happy medium option. P.S. see my Instagram for the bottom left picture!
Suit // Aerie (Top medium, bottoms small)
Sunglasses // Abella Eyewear
(Let me know if you my code or link)
2) Basic & Simple Summery Look

What is more basic than a semi crop top, high waisted jean shorts and Birkenstocks? It was a super easy pairing when I didn't really feel like getting ready after a long day at the beach. If you don't want to stand out or are looking for something simple, these should be staples in your closet.
Shirt // Forever 21
Shorts // Hollister
Shoes // Birkenstocks
3) Bohemian Casual

On one of the chillier nights we were there, which was about 70 degrees (why can't I live there!!?), I figured it was a good night for light weight pants. I love pants like these, and I have a small but growing collection of them because of their comfort, versatility, and fun! These are olive green with vertical stripes, and I paired it with a cream top and strappy brown sandals.
Shirt // Old Navy
Pants // Tommy Bahamas
Shoes // Payless
4) New Years Eve in a Sundress

When you're at the beach, you only have to go semi nice for New Years! I found this sundress in some last minute shopping for a whopping 2 dollars! I paired it with black sandals and bright makeup (sorry the filter dimmed it down a bit) to compliment the yellow and pink in the dress. It was a really fun, easy, and comfortable look! If you didn't know already, this will be a staple for my wardrobe and makeup this summer.
Also a side note, look at how light my hair is! I used the SunBum hair lightener (this was my second day being on the trip), and it made it look professionally done!
Sundress // Old Navy
Eyes // Colour Pop "Yes Please"
Sandals (not pictured) // Payless
5) Red Swimsuit with Sarong

I loved this outfit because it could really be an outfit if I wanted it to be! I 100% recommend owning some one pieces because they can also serve as a an outfit top during the year. Also, sarongs are super versatile and can be tied many ways depending on your look. I loved this one and will be buying more sarongs for the summer!
One piece // Target
Sarong // Grandma's closet (no like seriously my grandma gave it to me... go grandma!)
Sunglasses // Abella Eyewear (Let me know if you want my link and code)
6) More Comfy Pants (Aren't these great titles!)

Another one of the nights we were there, I wasn't in the mood for shorts. I decided to put on some more comfy pants like my green ones (seriously they are the equivalent of sweatpants but dressier) and wear the same sandals with a different cream top! It's not very original in comparison to that first pants outfit, but it is a different color selection and possibly even more dressy for any occasions you might have.
Shirt // American Eagle
Pants // Roolee
Shoes // Payless
7) The Pink Dress

Last but not least, here is a dress! I love this baby doll dress because it highlights a tan very well and can be dressed up or down depending on what you want (like most of my outfits on here!). It is also really comfy and looked good when paired with black accessories.
Dress // A boutique somewhere (I really really really can't remember)
Shoes // Payless
